Can I Tan And Wax The Same Day?
Cane Creek addresses launches its Model 100, the major difference between addresses 100 and the 110 model is the appearance and quality finish. While the 110 is given a smooth finish on the machine, special polished and anodized 100 is treated with a standard method.
The 100 receives a standard anodized, glossy black or silver and laser engraving only found in the upper deck, so the biggest difference between the two models is that the model 100 is much more industrial.
Another difference between the two models is in the position of the bearings, since they are placed in contrast to the model 110. Place the bearings in this way has many advantages in the manufacturing, installation and maintenance.
The rest of the differences lie mainly in the materials. The bearing is the same design used in the 110 model but instead of using a bearing steel 52100 ioxidable with a black oxide coating. The bearing steel is much cheaper than steel and is actually more durable than stainless steel, the disadvantage is that the bare steel corrodes fairly easily, the black oxide coating combat this tendency to corrosion. The good news is that the bearings of the Model 100 can be replaced by the Model 110 and its geometry is identical.
More differences in the materials are found in the crowns that the model 100 is mounted steel in the stainless steel model 110. The cups of the 100 are made of aluminum 6066 compared to 7075 model 110. Resulting in a 35% increase of hardness of model 100 front-mounted aluminum addresses 6061 and 95% stronger in the 110 model with the alloy 7075.
6066 The use of aluminum in the 100 series is because it is a little cheaper than the 7075 and 6000 series is more simple to work, giving less problems with the quality of the finish.
