On 5 May we celebrated the World Day III Hand Hygiene promoted by WHO to draw attention to the importance of this simple action in reducing mortality and reducing infections associated with health care .
Health Management Area south of Granada endorses this campaign: SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands, programming activities to inform professionals, patients, users and general public.
Thus, we have distributed promotional materials on hand hygiene (posters, flyers, stickers ...) for all sites in the Health Care, will have two information desks at the entrances of the hospital, with the collaboration of nurses and intercultural mediators during the morning of day 5, addition, and only for that day, insert on the desks of the portal monitors and the health of the area, an awareness message with a link to the game "Hand Hygiene" from the Ministry of Health and Consumption in the Region of Murcia, and of course, the Preventive Medicine Unit is available to professionals to support any initiative to promote hand hygiene who want to develop in different clinical management units during this day or at any other time.
We make hand hygiene is a daily activity into every act of health.
